August is here! And I realized the whole month of July while co washing and detangling hair was always coming out. There was a time where it wasn't, but then it started doing it again. I honestly think its from co washing daily and wearing my wash & gos.. all... the... time. That's coming to an ends so i'm in the process of looking for a hairstyle to wear for a week without washing to rotate with my Co washing week. One week protective style, the next daily co washing with my wash and go. Im gonna try rollersetting or something of that matter..... I don't want to straighten my hair until September, somewhat of a personal reason. I want to surprise myself at the difference my hair will be next month as far as length. It's been close to, I want to say, a year since I've REALLY had a trimmed. Or gave myself one I should say. I been faithful to keeping my ends up to par this far but the middle of my hair and front are taking a beating. The rest are fine I guess. I know it's because I been slacking on hiding them at night and keeping them moisturized or sealing with oil.
This transitioning stuff is NOT easy. I honestly been thinking of relaxing my hair again. Shoot me now but I really have been thinking about it. I refuse to cause I know when I do i'll regret doing it. I'm just impatient maybe.. The last picture is a new style I came across. I call it the pinned up bob. I saw a youtube video of it done on a model with waist length hair. Her hair was layered with mad layers, the stylist rolled her long hair under her head and pinned it loosely and let her layers fall over it and it formed a inverted bob. The way my hair is layered it done the same thing even though it's only shoulder length. I tied a hair tie at the very bottom leaving my longer sides out automatically, then rolled the hair tie part up until it was fully under the rest of my hair and pinned it. An hour later my layers fell nicely. The picture taken below (the last one) was taken when I just done it. With the right accessories on and outfit I like the messy/choppy look.

Transitioning.... that word right there can be scary! i did it for 5 months. I couldn't take it anymore after that. I did the big chop. I was highly upset. It was a shock. But 4 months later, I must say that I am really happy. Our hair is so beautiful. Hang in there!!!!
your hair looks great!
